Climate Change and Environmental Conservation

We promote and partner with communities for proactive conservation to build long-term ecological and social resilience, particularly for communities that are most affected by climate change. Community Green Mindsets hopes to achieve enhanced resilience of women, young people, and businesses who rely on climate-sensitive social and economic opportunities

We work together to restore degraded ecosystems, which are critical to indigenous livelihoods. These livelihoods are tied to the local ecosystem, rainfall patterns, but are also threatened by floods and droughts. We promote collaborations between stakeholders to strengthen community-led governance for resource management to ensure all actors in the community equitably benefit from the environment. Collaborative partnerships with government, communities, and Community-Based Organizations in advocacy and Rights-Based programming.

We promote intergenerational knowledge exchange promoting integration of traditional knowledge with modern science for adaptive strategies against climate impacts. We work with community monitoring networks for biodiversity and climate risks.
